SASANIAN KINGS. Yazdgard I, 399-420. Pashiz (Bronze, 15 mm, 1.49 g, 3 h). Draped bust of Yazdgard I to right, wearing elaborate crown with korymbos and crescent on forehead; before head, tamgha. Rev. Fire altar flanked by two attendants; in upper left field, crescent; in upper right field, crescent. SNS III -. Extremely rare and unusually well preserved. Light deposits, otherwise, very fine.
